“Queso and Questions” with the Commuter Student Association

The Commuter Student Association will host “Queso and Questions” on Thursday, September 5, 2019, in the new commuter lounge.

     Program & Advising Coordinator for Second-Year, Transfer & Transition Initiatives, Brennan Gourley, sent in an email on August 25, 2019, “Eat chips and ask questions! Join the commuter student association for Queso and Questions in the new commuter lounge!”

     Vice President of the Commuter Student Association, Rachel Garnett, said, “This is my first year serving on the executive board for the Commuter Student Association. Queso and Questions is Katie’s brainchild, as well as the other perfectly-crafted punny events, and this event is having its debut September 5, 2019!”

College Life: Senior Year is Finally Here

As I sit here thinking about what I want to tell the new incoming freshman class, I realize that I am in the stages of writing my last pieces of news stories and opinion pieces for The Critograph because… I am a SENIOR!!

Senior year is finally here and boy, does it feel good. There is always the saying, “I cannot wait for senior year to get here.”

Isolated at the Annex?

On Aug. 6, 2019, the Dean of Students announced that students assigned to be living in the new residence hall would instead be moved into the Annex until the weekend of September 14th, 2019. 

     The Annex, a former hotel used by Liberty University during renovations, has been turned into a living spaces for students. The Annex was loaned to the University of Lynchburg by Liberty University free of charge and is located on Old Fellows Road, which is just under a three mile drive to the University.
