It was made official Saturday when the Raiders and the Chicago Bears came to an agreement with the trade, which now makes Mack the highest-paid defensive in NFL history. In Sunday’s NBA action, the Cleveland Cavaliers were able to pull off an upset victory over the Boston Celtics in what was supposed to be a big night for one of Boston’s own, Paul Pierce. The story of the night was that the Celtics were retiring “The Truth’s” (Pierce’s) jersey, and in doing so dedicating the night to him. However, Lebron James and company managed to steal the show with a 121-99 win. Read more

In recent news, a lot of injuries have been occurring in the NBA, with one of the more notable ones involving starting point guard of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Derrick Rose. Rose went down a couple weeks ago with a high ankle sprain, and hasn’t returned to the court since.
