I was at my brother’s wedding and while I should have been celebrating, I was reminiscing about Lynchburg with one of the guests.  My sister-in-law would take trips as a young girl to Lynchburg College to visit her aunt. While my brother’s wife didn’t remember much, her aunt certainly poured forth with fond memories of Lynchburg, and we were in our own Hornet world for a time.

Westover Fellow Returns

Saturday, Oct. 21, was Lynchburg College’s homecoming weekend and to honor that, the Westover Honors Society brought Kevin Scott back to LC to speak at a luncheon to the Westover Fellows. Music Department Dedicates New Piano

The college will be hosting a dedication concert for the music department’s new Steinway Concert Grand D piano. The piano, which cost over $150,000, was purchased with donation money from alumni in order to enhance opportunities for students in the department, as well as local musicians.
