The chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the National Theatre Honor Society, put on the show Broadway Backwards to help raise money to fight aids and help with research. Broadway Backwards is when all performers sing Broadway showtunes of the opposite gender.

Students walked all night to fight against cancer at the annual Lynchburg College Relay for Life. Our Multimedia Editor went to students and asked the simple question; Why do you Relay? Everyone has been touched in some way by this awful disease but that is why we hold this walk every year. We walk to remember the ones we have lost and to help the ones still fighting.

The event always wraps up the yearly tradition of LC’s Rainbow Week. Rainbow Week is a week dedicated to LGBT history and pride which is headed by Lynchburg College Gay-Straight Alliance.

Before we all left to enjoy our spring break the Lynchburg College Theatre performed the winter musical The Pajama Game. Our Multimedia Editer was able to capture highlights from this upbeat and fun musical in case you missed it or wish to see it again.

This past weekend was Lynchburg College Orchestra’s performances of their annual movies concert. Our multimedia editor sat down with music major, Nicole Balsamello, to get an inside scoop on what it takes to put on such a performance and why music has always been such a huge part of her life.

This week we sat down with Holly Herdman, class of 2014, to get the full scoop on what is Love 146 and how students can get involved. Holly explains why Love 146 is such a passion for her and how it is an organization that can change the lives of many.
